Institute on Theology and Disability
June 16-18, 2025
Iliff School of Theology

The Institute on Theology and Disability (ITD) is an accessible and inclusive three-day fully hybrid gathering of leading scholars, writers, faith leaders, disabled advocates, lay leaders, and others committed to advancing inclusive ministries and faith supports. Each year ITD fosters diverse and authentic interfaith conversations at the intersection of theology and disability. Practically, this looks like collectively engaging in plenary sessions, workshops, and networking; offering a PhD seminar for current doctoral students; and providing a community day to connect more deeply with organizations within the host city. The Institute celebrates, explores, and investigates the ways that:

  • Disability impacts all major theological disciplines and the many dimensions of religious life and faith community practices.
  • Theology and practice mutually inform and support one another.
  • Diverse perspectives enrich and inform theological formation and religious practice.

We are excited that this year’s Institute on Theology and Disability will be held at Iliff School of Theology June 16-18, 2025.

Registration will open by March 1, 2025.
