The Institute on Theology and Disability (ITD) is an accessible and inclusive three-day fully hybrid gathering of leading scholars, writers, faith leaders, disabled advocates, lay leaders, and others committed to advancing inclusive ministries and faith supports. Each year ITD fosters diverse and authentic interfaith conversations at the intersection of theology and disability. Practically, this looks like collectively engaging in plenary sessions, workshops, and networking; offering a PhD seminar for current doctoral students; and providing a community day to connect more deeply with organizations within the host city. We are excited that this year’s Institute on Theology and Disability will be held at Iliff School of Theology June 16-18, 2025.
We are looking forward to a dynamic group of plenary speakers this year, including Miriam Spies, Robert Monson, Isaac Soon, Louise Gosbell, Josh Hanan, emerging scholar Callie Micale, and an interfaith panel.
