The agenda for this MLK Jr. community celebration features a keynote presentation from the Rev. Dr. Lee Butler, President of The Iliff School of Theology, recognition of the Founders of the Colorado Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration, Honorable Wellington Webb and Honorable Wilma Webb and a CBRT MLK Jr. Birthday Community Response Panel composed of a “Who’s Who” of Black Community Faith Leaders that have enthusiastically committed to attend and participate. Confirmed faith leaders participating to date are Overseer Thomas Mayes, Rev. Paul Burleson, Rev. Dr. Marjorie Lewis, Rev. Dr. Ben Sanders, Bishop Acen Phillips, Imam Abdur Rahim Ali, Sister Carroll Watkins Ali and Syl Morgan Smith.
